Don’t Be Amused Its Just the News

News Reimagined, Stress Redefined

A Week of Bugs, Rocks, and Recalls at Trader Joe’s

In the aisles of Trader Joe’s, where shoppers roam,
Two recalls were issued, sending chills to the bone.
First, the Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup,
A name that now seems an ironic loop.

With use-by dates, oh so far and wide,
From July to September, they did not hide.
But alas, the soup had guests uninvited,
Insects, they said, left customers slighted.

Next came the falafel, fully cooked and neat,
Sold across states, a Middle Eastern treat.
But what’s this we hear, a rock-hard surprise?
In the mix of chickpeas, a stony compromise.

“Return or dispose,” Trader Joe’s did implore,
Of these tainted goods, we want no more.
Off the shelves, the products were swept,
While in homes across the nation, many wept.

But wait, there’s more to this grocery tale,
A third recall, making customers pale.
Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies, so sweet,
And Almond Windmill Cookies, a usual treat.

But rocks were found, amidst the dough,
An ingredient, they didn’t wish to bestow.
Three recalls in a week, oh what a sight,
In the world of groceries, quite a fright.

We chuckle now, though it’s a bit tragic,
In our food, we prefer magic, not the geologic.
And as we end this tale of unexpected guests,
We look forward to meals without such jests.
